A flagship logistics estate in Sydney’s fastest-growing industrial corridor
Yiribana West forms part of The GPT Group’s Yiribana Logistics Estate, a 230,000 sqm prime logistics precinct on the western edge of Sydney’s Mamre Road industrial corridor. With the Western Sydney Aerotropolis and the new Western Sydney International Airport ten kilometres away, and direct access to the M4 and M7, Kemps Creek has become the most strategically located industrial address in New South Wales.
Lotos Concretors is delivering the structural concrete works for Stage 1 of the GPT-owned western portion of the estate.
What Lotos is delivering
Stage 1 covers 20,000 square metres of fibre reinforced super flat warehouse floors and 18,000 square metres of heavy-duty external hardstand pavements. The internal floors are designed to support narrow-aisle operations and the high point-loads associated with modern automated and semi-automated logistics — the kind of work where flatness tolerances and slab durability are graded, not estimated.
The external hardstands are sized for full B-double turning, drive-around truck circulation and the wide loading aprons specified for tier-1 logistics tenants.
Further warehouses are already underway across the Yiribana West site, with Lotos contracted to deliver subsequent stages.
Sustainability and the Green Star target
The GPT Group has set a minimum 5-Star Green Star target for the estate, with on-lot stream health management — a first for the Mamre Road Precinct — alongside 100 kW of rooftop solar with battery storage, rainwater reuse and low-carbon concrete specifications across the warehouse program.
We work to those material specifications and coordinate closely with the project team on supply chain decisions that affect embodied carbon, including SCM blends and reinforcement detailing.
Watch this space for the next stages.
